September 22nd officially ushers in fall and the approach of cooler and shorter days with the Autumnal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere . The Southern Hemisphere gets ready for the joy and flowers of spring at the same time. Fall is truly a time of change for the whole world. This is also the start of the academic year for many countries.
