HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY!International Women's Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In some places like China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, IWD is a national holiday. The first IWD was run in 1911. Next year is IWD Global Centenary 1911-2011. We'd like to wish all women the best, and invite men to celebrate this day with women in their families.
Have a great learning experience with a focus on women, peace and politics! We can celebrate the strengths and achievements of women around the world on this day. March is Women's History Month!
The theme for Women's History Month is 'Writing Women Back into History'.
